Singer Kalpana Autobiography

Kalpana Raghavendar is a playback singer, song writer and artist too, who predominantly works in southern film industry. In addition to that, she also participated Bigg Boss season one, which telecast by Sun Networks of Gemini TV. With this show she own the hearts of Telugu people with her attitude and behavior in show. So many people felt sad at that time of her elimination from Bigg Boss.

However, Kalpana started her career as singer at the age of five. In 2010, she was the winner of Star Singer Season 5. As of 2013, she recorded more than fifteen soundtracks and performed nearly three thousand shows in abroad and India.

Kalpana Raghavendar Born and Family:

She was born on 8 May in Tamil Nadu. Father T. S. Raghavendra and mother Sulochana both are vocalists. Raghavendra also a composer and artist. She has a sister Shekinah Shawn (Prasanna Raghavendar), who is an Opera singer.

Kalpana learnt Carnatic music from Madurai T. Srinivasan. She is a graduate of MCA and pursued Master of Philosophy.

Kalpana Raghavendra Career:

She delivered her first vocals for a family song along with her sister, P. Susheela, MM Srilekha and Manu and the song is composed by musician Saluri Vasu rao.

She crooned the Telugu song Mangala Gouriki for the flick Manoharam in 1999, which is composed by Mani Sharma. After, she worked with eminent music directors and singers such as Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, AR Rahman, KV Mahadevan, KS Chithra SP Balu and many more.

Moreover, the singer Kalpana Raghavendar got more popularity in public as a stage performer. She performed almost three thousand stage shows. In 2013, she stood as lead performer in a tribute concert for her guru Madurai T Srinivasan. Anyway let wish all the best to her singing carrier.
