Jagapathi is
one of the talented artists in T town. He first time saw the world on Feb 12th
1962. His father is a producer V B Rajendra Prasad. Babu entered into cine
world with Manchi Manushulu as a child artist. It arrived in year 1974. In this
Sobhan Babu, Mukkamala, Raja Babu, Manjula and few other artists. It collected
one crore at that time.
Cine Carrier:
He faced
camera as a hero with Simha Swapnam in year 1989. In this he did dual role for
first time. Krishnam Raju, Madan, Ranganath, Anitha and few other actors were
acted. Its financial matters were handled by V B Rajendra Prasad and directed
by V Madhusudhan Rao. Jagapathi Babu appeared as solo hero with Adavilo
Abhimanyudu cinema. It was released between good hype but failed badly at box
office. Vinod Kumar, Kuali, Gummadi and many others acted. Direction part is in
hands of Anil.
In 1990
Jagapathi came infornt of people with english flick Three Men and a Baby. It
named in Telugu as Chinnari Muddula Papa. It was also not success and failed to
bring a fame to him. Next he did projects like Parishkaram, Asadhyulu, Mother
India, Aashayam, Aadarsham and many more. Jagapathi Babu became famous with in
ending of 1993 with the film named Gaayam. In this Revathi, Ragini, Narsing
Yadav, M Balaiah, Charan Raj and many others acted in direction of RGV. It tastes
unforgettable success.
Next
Jagapathi Babu not appeared in highly mass content films, but acted in family,
comedy and commercial movies. In 1996 year he banged huge hit inform of Maa
Aavida Collector. In this Prema, Ananth Babu, Y Vijaya, Poosala Narasimha Rao.
Direction part is in hands of Kodi Ramakrishna. In same year he become more
close to lady fans with Maavichiguru. Aamani, Ali, Dham, Sri Lakshmi, Giri Babu
and many other artists were acted in direction of S V Krishna Reddy.
Immediately Babu faced flop with Jabilamma Pelli.
Jagapathi
Babu bounce back with Subhakankshalu. It is a family cum comedy oriented film.
It also became a huge hit and collected good collections at box office. Next he
appeared in some films and attracted mass people along with family audiences
with Dongata. Next he targeted completely lady audiences with Maavidaakulu,
Pelli Kanuka and Pelli Peetalu flicks.
Next family
star appeared in a mass avatar in Anthapuram. He attracted whole film Industry
with his acting skills through this movie. He shared the big screen with
Soundarya, Mahadevan, Raja Babu, Delhi Rajeswari and many others. Next he
delivered Manasulo Maata, Choosoddaam Randi, Family Circus, Bachi and few other
movies. Jagapathi got huge hit as hero inform of Hanuman Junction, which was
arrived in 2001 year. It successfully completed more than 100 days at that
time. Next he delivered back to back super hits with Siva Rama Raju, Kabadi
Kabadi, Pedababu and some other. After these films he did not get huge hits,
instead of getting hit he tasted flops. He tried different role and different
concepts but all are failed in impressing cine lovers.

Babu first time turned into villain that too for Balakrishna Legend. He acted
equally with NBK in film and attracted all directors and actors eyes. This film
has changed his cine carrier totally. From this film he start acting in negative
roles and supporting characters.
